Board of Directors Monthly Meeting

Location: BGP Realty Office
Laura Cofer, President, called the meeting to order at 6:05 p.m. The Board Members present were Helen Ann Spessard, Member-at-Large; Jennifer Edgell, Treasurer; Ty Schmidt, Vice President, and Tim Penick.
Treasurer’s Report:
Asset Balances as of 3/14/2011
Total Assets: $ 94,689.31
Operating Account - $ 19,452.96
Business Money Market - $ 21,807.46
FNB Certificate of Deposit: $ 15,412.18
FNB Certificate of Deposit: $ 38,016.71
Old business:
The money for pavement repairs has been put into escrow and will remain there until the job is complete. Mr. Jeb Burton from Boxley construction agreed to fix the pavement in question and will be paid upon completion and approval by the board. Mr. Burton and Tim Penick had a meeting and came up with this agreement.
We discussed again that Kenny Viar has not responded to our concern for the shoddy workmanship of the road repair next to the garbage containers on the east side of our property. We will move forward with a ” Warrant in Debt “ against him.
Discussed a continuing problem of trash bags being placed beside large cans instead of placing them inside. This will be strongly noted in the next Newsletter that will be ready for distribution to the neighborhood in the near future.
Jerry Crisp Lawn Care Co. will be applying different lawn care chemicals than what we have used in the past. This will add to our cost but it will still cost us less annually than the previous company.
New Business:
Discussed and agreed to have an evening or Saturday clean up time. There are several areas that need to be cleaned up. One area is where the children carried items into the woods outside of our property lines. The second area is all the trash that has accumulated in the wooded area on the west side of our property. Board members and hopefully others will help and we will have two trucks to haul it all off.
